We accept most major dental insurance plans, including BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, Humana, Delta Dental, United Concordia, United Healthcare, Ameritas, Assurant, MetLife, and Guardian, plus additional plans — just contact our office to verify yours.
Do you accept patients without insurance?
Yes! For patients without insurance, our Dental Savings Plan offers memberships as low as $100 per month and includes two dental exams and cleanings annually plus discounts on additional services.
Do you offer payment plans or financing?
We've partnered with Sunbit, CareCredit, and Prosper Healthcare Lending to make financing easy! Sunbit offers 30-second online pre-approval, and we also accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
Do you see children / are you a family practice?

What should I expect at my first visit?
During your first dental appointment at Tyson Dental Esthetics, you can expect a warm welcome from our front desk team and some paperwork, a professional cleaning, and then an exam with your dentist along with any treatment recommendations — the visit takes approximately one hour. New patient forms are available online.

Are your dentists specialists, and in what?
Our dentists are Dr. Sanae Berrada and Dr. Aya Jawad. Dr. Berrada is a general dentist with advanced training in orthodontics (post-graduate certificate from NYU), implant dentistry (studies at Columbia), and cosmetic dentistry, with over 20 years of clinical expertise, and she is a Preferred Invisalign provider.

What sedation options do you offer for nervous patients?
We offer nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, and IV sedation to help make your visit more comfortable and stress-free. Nitrous oxide takes effect within minutes and is ideal for mild to moderate anxiety, oral sedation is as simple as taking a pill and suits moderate to severe dental phobia, and with IV sedation you remain awake and responsive, though you may not remember much of the procedure.
Is sedation dentistry safe?
Yes — your safety is always our number one concern, and after IV sedation we ask that someone drive you home and keep an eye on you for the rest of the day.
