Falls Church Orthodontics
A straight smile will improve your confidence and your oral health. But not every patient has the same orthodontic needs. That’s why Tysons Dental Esthetics offers a range of orthodontic treatment options. Whether you need to make dramatic changes to the alignment of your teeth or you just want to make some minor cosmetic changes, Dr. Berrada has options that can help you.
Our orthodontic services include:
- Traditional Braces. Mention braces to most people and a mouthful of metal is what naturally comes to mind. Today, however, the metal brackets and wires that make up traditional braces are much smaller and sleeker than in years past. Attached to the facial side of teeth, traditional braces are appropriate for orthodontic cases ranging from simple to complex. These braces are particularly useful in helping to correct malocclusion—crooked or crowded teeth—as well as bad bites, which can lead to other serious oral health problems. Traditional braces do require occasional tightening, so the pressure can be appropriately adjusted in order to straighten your teeth and align your jaw.
- Invisalign®. For patients who want the benefits of orthodontic braces without the appearance of metal brackets and wires, Invisalign may be the ideal option. Invisalign uses clear plastic aligners to move your teeth into proper alignment. Dr. Berrada works closely with the Invisalign lab to create a sequential series of clear braces that are designed specifically for your unique orthodontic needs. Invisalign can correct crowded teeth, overbites, crossbites and irregular spacing between your teeth. Typical treatment with Invisalign requires 20 to 30 sets of aligners for your upper and lower teeth. You’ll wear each set for about two weeks. Invisalign clear braces are removable for meals as well as oral hygiene, but should otherwise be worn consistently for the best results.
- Instant Orthodontics. Some patients desire a beautiful straight smile, but simply do not have the time or resources for traditional braces or Invisalign. If this is you, then consider instant orthodontics with Snap-On Smile®. As the name suggests, your new smile goes on with a snap. Made of dental resin, this insert fits snuggly over your teeth just as they are to give you a natural looking smile with straight teeth. Snap-On Smile will conceal stained and discolored teeth, crooked teeth, as well as gaps between teeth. Furthermore, they are so comfortable and well-fitting that you can easily eat and drink with your Snap-On Smile in place.

In addition to standard orthodontic care, our Falls Church office also has solutions for neuromuscular conditions like TMJ dysfunction (TMD) and bruxism (teeth grinding).
