Denitst In Network with Metlife Dental – Falls Church, VA
MetLife Dental Benefits for Affordable Dentistry
Many people assume that the leading reason patients given for skipping their trips to the dentist is phobia or anxiety. It’s actually something much simpler – cost. At Tysons Dental Esthetics, we do our utmost to deliver affordable dentistry services that will fit into any patient’s budget. Processing dental insurance claims is one way that we’re able to keep the out of pocket costs of dental care in our dental office to a minimum. We’re happy to file claims for most dental benefit providers, and we are also in-network with many major plans, which allows us to promise the lowest possible out of pocket costs. MetLife is one of our in-network insurance plans. If you have dental benefits through MetLife or any other provider, make sure you let our dentistry team know when you call to schedule your first appointment at our dental office in Falls Church. Our team works with insurance providers on a daily basis, and we’ll do our utmost to maximize your coverage.
MetLife Dental Coverage & Availability
MetLife dental insurance offers a number of policies to offset the out of pocket costs of dental care for patients. Like all insurance plans, MetLife dental benefits vary from patient to patient. To provide accurate estimates of the out of pocket costs of your dental care, we’ll need to review your individual plan. In most cases, MetLife dental benefit plans offer 80 to 100% coverage for the cost of preventive dental exams and teeth cleanings. Minor restorations like fillings are covered at 70 to 80%, and more complex services like dental crowns receive 50 to 70% coverage. MetLife offers limited coverage for some other treatments like orthodontics and oral appliances when elected, but we’ll need to review your policy and/or apply for preapproval to ensure benefits are available before we begin any treatment plan.
While out of network dentists will still receive benefits from MetLife, visiting an in-network provider ensures you’ll always have the lowest possible out of pocket treatment costs. As an in-network provider, we’ve agreed to MetLife’s set price maximums for the treatments we offer. Out of network dentists may charge fees higher than the plan maximums, so you’ll have to pay the difference in price in addition to the out of pocket percentage of treatment costs. In most cases, any differences in pricing are minimal, but visiting an in-network dentist ensures you’ll have the lowest out of pocket costs.
Any of our dental team members will do their best to answer your dental insurance questions, but Rossio is our resident expert on MetLife and all of the other in-network and out of network dental insurance plans. As our Office Manager, Rossio is dedicated to keeping the dental office running smoothly. She works with dental insurance policies every day, and she’ll be happy to review your plan, answer questions about treatment coverage, and work with you to get the maximum available coverage for your necessary dentistry services.
